The Walhalla wood product range is crafted from premium quality Mahogony, with wood only being sourced and harvested from approved regulated plantation forests in Indonesia.
The mahogany hardwood is an excellent material due to its strength and durability, resistance to rot, and has a low shrinkage rate, allowing the wood to maintain its shape well.
The wood is versatile, and this versatility allows for the wood to carve, cut, and finish well, and with a fine rich grain colour, means the wood can be used for anything from furniture making, nursery and horticultural applications, mining and the building industry. The mahogany wood is KD/ kiln dried, bringing back the moisture content to less than 12%, making the wood stronger and durable.
