Coco Peat

Coco peat is a renewable, sustainable, and biodegradable byproduct of the coconut industry, specifically made from coconut husks. It has a high porosity, which helps plants grow healthy root systems, and a near-neutral pH, so it doesn’t alter a plant’s root acidity or alkalinity levels

Uses and Benefits

Coco peat is excellent for use in soil conditioning and as a mixing medium for the eco-friendly cultivation of a large variety of fruits and vegetables, such as tomatoes, carrots, beetroots, strawberries, lettuce, spring onions, and cucumbers.
The use of coco peat in media has a high resistance against fungal growth and can increase the efficiency of drip irrigation. It also has excellent water drainage without excessive water retention, making it a good material to mix with other organic media.
