Coco Fiber Stick
The Coco Fiber Stick is a renewable, sustainable, and biodegradable product made from a by product of the coconut industry. Derived from coconut husks, the fiber is wrapped around a mahogany hardwood pole. The wood is kiln-dried (KD), a process that reduces its water content to less than 12%, making it strong, durable, and long-lasting.
Additional information
The fiber stick is commonly used for climbing plants and vines, including epiphytes like bird's nest ferns, orchids, and hanging moss, which have aerial root systems.
The fibrous surface of the coco fiber allows for good airflow, reducing the risk of root rot, and its textured structure provides a surface for the plants' aerial roots to attach to.
